Day Three

Well Krystal and I made our first Carolina's Medical Center (CMC) midnight run. They called to let us know that Clara's lung had collapsed and they had to put a tube in to re-inflate. They told us it was unnecessary to come up but how could we sleep? So off we went. She is doing OK but has a few issues that are of concern. We will keep you posted. Jacob is doing well. Krystal was able to change his diaper, check his temp and feed him with "mommy milk" & Formula thru a syringe. He has had several feeding but is having a few problems digesting so they are going to wait a few days. We are not out of the woods yet but we are taking it a day at a time.

Krystal has started "pumping" but that is a good story in its self that I will leave for Krystal to tell.

Everybody has been asking about Jake and Clar's measurements:

Clara 1 lb 10oz and 12.5 inches 00:35 am Jan 15 2005
Jake 1 lb 12oz and 13 inches 01:02 am Jan 15 2005

They both have and will lose weight 10-20% according to the Doc's and nurse's at CMC.

Again we appreciate everyone thoughts and prayer. Everyone has been amazing with the support. Over the next few months may take up you on the support offers.
